Essentially, your body goes into starvation mode, and says to store fat. To maintain properly and to lose properly (without getting loose or baggy skin), you need about 1 gram of protein per gram of lean body mass. Get your body analysis done so that you can see how many grams of protein you need to consume.

 

   

 ~ Fat
Since fat has the most amounts of calories by weight, and most fats are
the wrong kind for good health, you want to be careful, and try to keep it
below 25% of total calorie intake.

 

   

~ Good Carbs and Bad Carbs
Bad carbs are those that are white and tan. Breads, pastas, rice, salt,
sugar, and so forth. Good Carbs are full of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, fiber, and other wonderful things for the body. Just do not add the butter, and you can eat almost as much as you want.

  

 

~   Summary of Eating
As you can see, your weight loss cannot be achieved unless you can
carefully construct 3 perfect meals a day, and perfect snacks in between.
Either you will not get enough protein, or you will get too many calories!
